Dr. GrayDr. Edward Gray has been a practicing chiropractor since 1996. He is a graduate from Queen's University where he completed an honours Baccalaureate degree in Biological Sciences. He attended the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where he graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic. Once in practice, he further advanced his education through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, where he received his certification status. He now works with the AFCI as a Clinical Lecturer and Facilitator, teaching other health professionals the art, science, and philosophy of acupuncture. Dr. Gray is currently the Treasurer of the Ontario Chapter of the AFCI, and is also on the National Education Committee.
Dr. Gray has received awards in recognition of his contributions to rehabilitation. He has been published in a peer-reviewed journal for his research in rehabilitation, specifically outlining the benefits to patients when a multidisciplinary approach is used in patient care. He utilizes acupuncture as an adjunctive modality to his chiropractic practice, where his experience is that the two therapies complement each other, working in synergy, and offers patients more options for the management of their health care. Other modalities used in his practice include Low Intensity Laser Therapy, Ultrasound, Electrotherapeutics, Foot Orthotics, and a variety of soft tissue therapies. His philosophy to patient care is to treat the patient, and not just the injury. By focusing on the source of the problem it can be corrected quickly, at which point he can give the patient the necessary tools to prevent future recurrences. “I want to be your chiropractor for life. I don’t necessarily want to see you weekly, but I want to leave a good enough impression so that the next time you have an injury or a problem, I am the person you go to for the "solution”. Hours Monday 12:00pm - 7:00pm Tuesday 9:30am - 2:00pm Wednesday 11:00pm - 7:00pm Thursday 11:00am - 7:00pm Saturday 9:00am - 2:00pm |
